08 Jul Happy New Year!: from 01/08/2026
Hello, and thank you all so much for being a part of this community!
I appreciate you being here. It truly means a lot to me that you’ve chosen to follow along, read these emails, and care about safe movement and independence at home.
At the heart of My Rehab Answers, is a simple passion:
helping people stay safe, confident, and independent at home – especially during times of change.
I work with the two biggest times of transition: coming home from hospitalization, and aging in place, because that is where I see the biggest gaps, and the biggest risk for falls or injury. People are often discharged with new mobility challenges, precautions, or equipment and very little time to fully understand how to move safely in their real lives. Others are noticing gradual changes – weakness, vision / hearing loss, changes in range of motion, balance issues, fatigue – and aren’t sure what’s normal, what’s safe, or what they should be doing to prevent decline.
This year, you’ll see more content focused on Aging in Place – not just reacting to problems, but preventing them, and on making the home work better for you. And of course, there will be tips for caregivers to help their loved ones, prevent injuries, and make the job a little easier.
Thank you for trusting me as a resource, and for being part of a group that believes safety, dignity, and independence at home truly matter.
I’m looking forward to sharing more with you in the year ahead. And please, share what questions you have so I can address what you want to hear about!!
